Vitaceae Plant Tissue Culture
Vitaceae plants are woody or herbaceous climbing vines, often with tendrils opposite the leaves, sparse erect shrubs, or small trees. About 12 genera and 700 species of Vitaceae plants are found worldwide, mainly in the tropics and subtropics.
Application value
The fruits of Vitaceae plants are berries with delicious taste and high nutritional value, which can be eaten raw or processed into fruit wine, juice, canned food, dried fruit and other products.
Vitaceae plants are vines with variable leaves and diverse leaf colors, and are famous as vertical greening trees. Especially Parthenocissus genus plants, Tetrastigma genus plants, etc., are good gardening trees.
The seeds of some plants of Vitaceae can be extracted as oil for industrial use, and some can extract tartaric acid, etc.
The roots, vines, leaves and stems of Vitaceae plants have medicinal value, and the roots of some species can be used medicinally to treat bruises, sore muscles and bones, infected hepatitis, purging fever and lymph node tuberculosis.

At present, the tissue culture of Vitaceae plants is not systematic and the methods are different, and a complete system capable of factory nursery has not been formed.
