Plant Growth Chambers Planning and Design

Plant Growth Chambers Planning and Design

The ideal plant growth chamber should be set up in a quiet, clean location away from sources of pollution, upwind of the prevailing year-round wind direction, to minimize contamination. Laboratories for large-scale production should also consider transportation issues to facilitate the delivery of products. Lifeasible has a wealth of experience in use and planning to help you consider the details you haven't considered and to help you plan a plant growth lab that is scientific, efficient, highly cost-effective, and practical.

What is Optimal Planning?

There are two aspects to be considered in the construction of a laboratory. The first is the nature of the experiments to be carried out, i.e., whether they are productive or research, basic level or higher level. The second is the size of the laboratory, which depends mainly on the funding and the nature of the experiments. A plant growth chamber must meet the three basic needs of experimental preparation (medium preparation, vessel washing, sterilization of medium and culture vessels), aseptic operation, and controlled culture. In addition, auxiliary laboratories and their various additional facilities can be considered to complete the laboratory according to the requirements of the experiments being performed.

Plant Growth Chambers Planning and Design

Before carrying out work on plant growth and culture, you should thoroughly understand what basic equipment and conditions are needed for the work so that you can utilize the existing house or build a new or modified laboratory according to the local conditions. The size of the laboratory depends on the purpose and scale of the work. With factory production in mind, a laboratory that is too small will limit production and affect efficiency. When designing the plant growth room, it should be designed according to the tissue culture procedure, to avoid the backward scheduling of certain links, which will confuse later. The plant growth room includes a strictly sterile tissue culture stage, which needs certain equipment, equipment, and utensils and also needs manual control of temperature, light, humidity, and other culture conditions.

What We Offer

Basic laboratory

Our planning for the basic laboratory includes the preparation room, washing and sterilization room, aseptic operation room, culture room, and buffer room, which are the basic conditions necessary for the plant growth room.

  • Preparation room (chemistry lab). Carry out all the preparatory work related to the experiment, complete the storage of the various drugs used, weighing, dissolving, washing of utensils, preparation, and dispensing of culture medium, sterilization of culture medium and culture utensils, pretreatment of culture materials, and so on. It can be designed as a split research laboratory and through room type-scaled laboratory.
  • Washing and sterilizing room. It can be used for washing, drying, preserving, and sterilizing culture medium.
  • Aseptic operation room (inoculation room). Mainly used for sterilization of plant materials, inoculation, transfer of cultures, succession of in vitro seedlings, preparation of protoplasts, and all technical procedures that require aseptic operation. It is a critical step in researching or producing plant in vitro culture.
  • Culture room. A place where the plant isolates material inoculated into culture flasks and other vessels is cultured under controlled conditions, either in research laboratories or production experiments material is cultured.
  • Buffer room. A buffer site before entering a sterile room to reduce dust and other contaminants brought in by the human body from the outside world. Staff members change into work clothes and slippers and wear masks here before entering the aseptic room and culture room. Change clothes and shoes here before entering the aseptic operation room to minimize stray bacteria brought into the inoculation room when entering and leaving.

Auxiliary laboratory

According to your research or production needs, we can plan and set up specialized laboratories mainly used for cytological observation and physiological and biochemical analysis.

  • Cytology laboratory. It is used for the observation and analysis of cultures, counting cultures, and the cytological identification and research of cultured materials. It consists of a filming room and a microscopic observation room.
  • Biochemical analysis laboratory. Cultivation of cell products as the main purpose of the laboratory, the establishment of the appropriate analytical laboratory, at any time the culture components of sampling and inspection. Large secondary metabolite production, but also effective separation laboratory.

Advantages

  • According to different experimental objects, the design can be optimized to meet the user's scientific research needs.
  • An enclosure system, culture rack, light and nutrient solution supply system, climate fertilization system, automatic monitoring and control system, air conditioning, and ventilation system can be added according to requirements.
  • Scientific, efficient, economical, practical, and stable performance.

Lifeasible adopts modern new technology to plan and design the plant growth room according to the characteristics of biological growth. It can realize the function of comprehensive regulation and control of light, temperature, water, gas, fertilizer, and other comprehensive environmental variables to get rid of the natural environment and the traditional conditions of the confined equipment.
