Description
This Rotala from tropical Asia is a fine-leaved, beautifully coloured stem plant. It resembles Rotala wallichii but differs i. a. by longer leaves and a brown-red stem. It prefers about the same culture conditions as that species; rather strong lighting, soft water, CO2 supply and regular fertilization with macro- and micronutrients are recommended for healthy growth.
Bushes of Rotala sp. 'Vietnam' make a pretty eyecatcher in the midground and background of an aquascape.
