Description
"Bangladesh" is an easy to keep, vigorous Rotala mexicana form. It has larger, less curved leaves than R. mexicana 'Araguaia'. It shows light green to light red tones and varies much depending on lighting and nutrient supply, so a stand of this stem plant looks quite colourful.
As well as other fine-leaved Rotala forms, Rotala mexicana "Bangladesh" prefers good lighting, CO2 and nutrient supply. Its fast growth makes regular trimming necessary.
Rotala mexicana "Bangladesh" looks most beautiful as a group in the midground to background of larger tanks.
