Description
For a long time, this name was used for the Red Milfoil (Myriophyllum tuberculatum) until true green Myriophyllum mattogrossense was imported into Germany from Ecuador. Very decorative light green milfoil popular in aquascaping. M. mattogrossense needs a good nutrient supply.
Myriophyllum mattogrossense comes from the tropical lowlands of South America. This species is relatively new as aquarium plant, even though its name has long been known in the hobby.
