Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Pantanal' Pantanal Ludwigia

Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Pantanal' Pantanal Ludwigia

Catalog Number
AP-0163
Description
This local form of Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata is very rarely available. As well as the Cuba Ludwigia, it forms submerged shoots with densely set, narrow leaves, however it differs by pretty red coloration. Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata "Pantanal" has higher demands than "Cuba". Strong lighting, CO2 injection, rather soft water and a balanced, complete macro- and micronutrient supply are necessary. It can be propagated by cuttings, as well as other stem plants. In emersed culture, it develops broader leaves and quite showy yellow flowers. This rare Ludwigia from the South American Pantanal area is a true eyecatcher as a bush in the midground to background of aquariums.
