Description
This broad-leaved form of Hygrophila corymbosa is long known in the aquarium hobby, also known as Temple plant, Nomaphila corymbosa and Hygrophila stricta. It comes from swampy places in Southeast Asia and grows above and under water. This strong stem plant is fast growing, undemanding and recommendable for beginners, however it's best placed in large, high tanks. It does not need strong lighting and grows also in hard, slightly alkaline water. A nutrient-rich substrate enhances its growth.
