Description
This beautiful form of the robust, time-tested Cryptocoryne wendtii from Sri Lanka is named after the nursery Tropica. When growing under water, it develops dark, hammered, relatively broad leaves. Therefore it is also falsely called "Cryptocoryne bullosa" that is the name of another species. When grown in an open space, the leaves will virtually lie on the bottom. With its leaves from 10-15 cm and a rosette from 10-20 cm wide, it is suitable for small aquariums. Like most other Sri Lanka Cryptocorynes, it also grows well in hard water.
