A classic amongst the Cryptocorynes. The Yellow Water Trumpet from Sri Lanka was originally called Cryptocoryne lutea. It is named after its yellow spathe that develops when the plant grows emersed. This medium-sized Cryptocoryne is as easy as its close relatives C. wendtii und C. beckettii.
