Description
Crinum thaianum is an onion plant with ribbon-like, 60-200 cm long leaves. This submerged aquatic plant from rivers in Thailand is best suited for large aquaria. It is undemanding and does not need much light. The substrate should be nutrient-rich and at least 8 cm in depth. Plant so the top 2/3 of the bulb is visible, because otherwise the bulb tends to rot. Older plants occasionally develop fragrant, elegant lily flowers above the water surface.
