Description
This Bucephalandra is produced by a nursery in Indonesia under the trading name "Mini Theia" where it is tied on pads (plates). Its exact original locality and species belonging is unknown to us, but as well as all Bucephalandras, it originates from Borneo island, growing as a rheophyte (adapted to strong current) on rock in the flood zone of rainforest streams. "Mini Theia" is a small to medium-sized variant with obovate leaves. Including the leaf stalk, they are about 3 to 5 cm long. The upper side is medium, almost light green; some plants are also darker coloured. The rhizome grows creeping and ramified. The plant has a quite loose growth habit.
