6-(gamma, gamma-dimethylallylamino) purine – 2iP liquid solution – 1 mg/ml in H2O. Sterile filtered. 6-(γ,γ-dimethylallylamino)purine (2iP) is a bacteria-derived riboside cytokinin. This solution is suitable for growing plant tissues such as tobacco and soybean callus. In addition, 2iP promotes cell division, shoot proliferation, and organogenesis, aids in the maintenance of the shoot apical meristem, disrupts apical dominance, and delays senescence.
